Who we are & what were about
TSBR does a lot of activities through the year. This Includes Bowling mid winter, Moto GP party to kick off the Moto GP season and family picnic in the spring, Video Scavenger Hunt early in the summer, Drive-In movie night, Kids day out, Mid Ohio Trip for the AMA races in Mid Ohio Raceway ,Poker Run Hosted by TCMF in the summer, BonFire for TSBR & TMCF members and their families in the early fall, and the end of the year Toledo Thanksgiving Day Parade.
We also have organized rides every Sunday. There are anywhere from 5-30 bikes showing up to enjoy the back roads of North West Ohio. We also participate in Wednesday night Bike nights at BW3's on Navarre Ave. in Oregon, Oh.
We even have a Photo Shoot (you can see pics in our photo area) and put together our own calendar!
There are no Dues , but TMCF & TSBR does offer a membership for a fee. This membership provides benifits such as discounts at Honda East, Revelation Tattoos, and other TSBR partners in the Toledo area. The membership also gets you admission to certain events for a discounted rate and entered into raffles. At most events we "pass the hat" or we also call it the tip jar, to cover some of the expenses associated with that event.
You can see we have a packed summer & lots of fun. Part of us having fun involves being responsible. Here are our rules:
Our Rules
1 "1 Drink Max": If you want to go riding with us, we have a simple rule about not drinking: Please keep it to one drink, max. What you do on your own time is fine buy us and we're not judging. Riding in a group requires trust. If your looking for some new drinking buddies to bar hop on your bike, you're probably looking in the wrong place.
2 " No Drama ": Trying again to keep things fun. We're a large group full of all kinds of personalities. We're not always going to get along. There are always going to be personality conflicts. Just do your best to avoid that person and AVOID THE DRAMA. Most importantly: KEEP IT OFF THE BOARDS. We're not perfect and things have happened in the past. We are doing a lot better. This now includes FRIENDS of TSBR!! Please avoid bad mouthing vendors, or other bike clubs.
3 " What goes on stays IN ": From time to time you may see something that you don't like. This could perhaps be a wheelie, speeding, a crash, or a girl on the back of a bike that perhaps you dont think she belongs. TOO BAD. Leave it right there. Leave it IN the group you're with. No ratting out on boards, leave it up to the person that crashed to post up. If you rat you get whatever you deserve, you come to us fully aware that there may be speeding. If you don't want to possibly get a ticket because of someone else's behavior then AVOID that situation.
4 : "Wear your Gear": By far this is the most flexible rule WE DO NOT REQUIRE YOU TO YOUR GEAR. If you're going out playing there may be a time when you're talked to about acting too loose, and not wearing gear. If you just want to come out and cruise, fine by us. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BE PRUDES HERE. We just have no interest in seeing our buddies head spilled on the sidewalk ya know? TSBR is a STRONG advocate of wearing your gear.. We also believe that a person can make up there own mind. HOWEVER, under certain circumstances wearing your gear will be encouraged or required to do a group event.
5 "There's a time and a place for everything": When you're representing this group, please be mature and responsible. We're not here to baby sit or rain on anyones parade. We're after FUN more than anything. At our heart we are a sport bike group and fully realize the need for speed experienced by being on such bikes. Try to get your jones out on your own time. We have been hard at work trying to change the public perception of sport bikes in the area. This has included appearance on local TV in response to negative stories aired regarding sport bikes. Please, keep this in mind.
